Stakes are high when you’re designing products that hundreds of thousands of users rely on daily, and I take the responsibility of leaving every interaction a little better than I found it very seriously.
At Bank of America, I have researched, planned and created content and designs for chat bots, knowledge centers, emails, applications, dashboards and product pages.
Content strategist at Red Ventures
Content strategist (2018)
Senior copywriter (2016)
Copywriter (2015)
I received a world-class education in content creation and management at Red Ventures, a media company that owns 100+ brands, including household names like Bankrate, CNET, Greatist, The Points Guy and Healthline. My work at RV included content planning and creation, full-site redesigns and managing editorial workflow for multi-coast content teams.
One of Red Venture’s principles is “speed trumps perfection,” and we lived it — moving quickly, learning on the fly, and creating impactful client experiences in healthcare, finance, and consumer spaces. When content strategy became a career track in 2018, I was among the first cohort to take the plunge, shaping expectations for content’s impact across the org.

Magna Cum Laude
I didn’t know what user experience was when I selected my course of study. But four years of research, analysis and synthesis — not to mention forming and substantiating sound arguments — uniquely prepared me for a career in content strategy. My sociology minor further piqued my interest in other humans and what makes them tick — curiosity that continues to drive my work today.

What my teammates say
“Chelsea might be the first and only person I've ever wanted to hire on the spot. And then she started working and impressed me more. As a manager you look for people like Chelsea — those dream employees that just get it. If I were building a team, she'd be one of my top picks every time.”
-Austin Light, Content Director at LendingTree
“Chelsea is an extremely detailed, goal focused content strategist. Her ability to parse and organize complex data is second to none. When leading projects, she is levelheaded and kind, even in the most challenging situations. I would happily work with Chelsea again, can’t recommend her enough!”
-Nils Hanson, UX Lead at BofA
“Chelsea is a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of design thinking principles. Her work is highly regarded, with our head of design saying ‘this is how we should be doing content strategy going forward’ when she presented one of our projects. I can honestly say I’m a better designer having worked with Chelsea.”
-Lynn Murphy, Lead Experience Designer at BofA
